How can I achieve an Anamorphic Lens Flare on my phone?
Please reference the light source as follows.

For the large Bokeh-esque flares, directly shoot the centre of a light source. The
stronger the light source is, the more glare effect you get. If the light source is
filtered, the glare may not be obvious, and the light is blurred.

The ambient light should be weaker that the light source. Otherwise, the glare is
not obvious or there is no effect.
•
Please move the angle of your phone while shooting the videography to hunt for
those magical beams of light.
Why the pictures and videos shot by this lens are distorted?
The reason is that the lens of the 1.55X anamorphic lens is essentially different from a
standard spherical lens. It can make wide scenes compressed and refracted into the
standard version, which explains the distorted image and is normal.
It is highly recommended that you use mobile apps to take videos, such as
aforementioned FiLMic Pro, ProMovie and FotorGear. You can also use editing software
to compress and restore the image.
Why doesn’t the flashl
ight work when the lens is in use?
This is because the lens diameter is bigger than the smartphone camera lens. When you
put the anamorphic lens on the native lens, it will block the flashlight.
