CAUTION :
Do not run the film remnants through the machine, always reverse film out of the machine.
It is very difficult to cut remnant film webs in such a way that both film ends match. If the
unmatched webs are run through the machine the tails will coat the laminating rollers with
adhesive and require lengthy cleaning.
(a)
Switch to "STOP".
(b)
Cut the laminated film that is hanging out of the back of the machine, close to the
rear
rollers.
(c)
Cut top and bottom webs close to the idler bars, ensuring you do not scratch the
heat shoes. (See Figs 9.2 and 9.3).
