4. If the NVR is connected to a LAN where a DHCP service is active, a valid IP address will automatically be assigned
to the NVR. To check the IP address assigned to the NVR by the LAN network, perform as follows:
o
Access the NVR OSD menu by pressing the right mouse button and enter the administrator password
(default:
00000000
)
o
In the page [Menu Network] display the NVR current network parameters: wait about ten seconds
for assignment and automatic display of network parameters.
o
If the LAN network doesn’t support the DHCP service, in the NVR page [Menu Network] change
from DHCP mode to “Static” mode, then manually enter the suitable network parameters: IP address,
Mask, Gateway, DNS.
5. Assign IP cameras in the LAN network to NVR channels. The assignment can be automatically performed by
pressing the button [Auto assign] (see the figure below and paragraph 4.1 for details) or manually (see par. 4.2).
