3.1.2 INSTALLATION FROM URMET CLOUD ANDROID APP

Download and install the
Urmet Cloud
app from Play Store.
With a smartphone connected to the Internet, launch the app
and create your Urmet Cloud personal account.
Wi-Fi or
wired
Make sure the smartphone has internet
access (Wifi or 3G), start the Urmet Cloud
app and log onto the Urmet Cloud with your
credentials. Press the add camera button
and select “Search automatically”.
From the list of UIDs detected in the
network, press “+” to add the camera. Input
the camera password (default: admin) and
fill in the other fields. Then wait for the app to
connect to the camera to read its network
configurations.
Select your home network in the "WiFi in
use” list, enter the WiFi password then save
and wait for the camera to connect to the
network.
Does your WiFi
have DHCP?
Start the IP-Discovery tool
from a PC connected to the
LAN. Select the detected
camera and press the Setup
button in the tool (user
name/password:
admin/admin). Manually set
the camera network data
(IP, Mask, Gateway, DNS).
Save.
The camera can now be reached via the
Internet. Quit the app, switch off the
smartphone WiFi to use 3G, then go back to
the app and make sure the camera can be
reached. If necessary, refresh the camera list
Wire the camera to
the network.

Start the IP-Discovery
tool on a PC connected
to the LAN. Select the
detected camera and
press the Setup button
(user name/password:
admin/admin). Manually
set the camera network
data (IP, Mask,
Gateway, DNS). Save.
The camera can now be reached via the
Internet. Launch app and log onto Urmet
Cloud with your credentials. Press the add
camera button and select “Read QR”.
Scan the QR Code on the camera. Enter
the camera password (default: admin), fill
in the other fields, proceed and wait for the
app to connect to the camera and read the
network configurations (which cannot be
edited). Finally, press “Save”.
From the camera list in the
Urmet
Cloud
app, click on the camera to view
the video stream.
