Troubleshooting Guide
Does not work out of the box
Kill switch is engaged
Make sure the kill switch is in the
pushed-in position.
Charger not working
Not plugged in correctly
Check lights on charger:
Red=Charging
Green= Charging complete
No light= replace charger
URB-E no longer works
Battery will not hold a charge
If the motor makes a clicking sound,
battery needs to be replaced.
Short run time / Runs slow
Rider weight
Do not exceed 250 lb. max weight limit.
URB-E doesn’t run
Turn key to ON position.
Kill switch to pushed-in position.
Check battery for charge. green, yellow,
or red light on throttle need to be lit.
Brake lever is released with nothing
causing it to be partially engaged.
URB-E doesn’t fold
Pull the seat all the way up and
towards the handlebars. At the same
time, guide the back wheel towards the
front wheel with the wheels directly in
line.
URB-E doesn’t unfold
Make sure the release latch is all the
way up without pulling against the
back swing arm. Once released, extend
the URB-E SPORT SERIES to its fully
expanded position.
URB-E won’t lock in folded position
Make sure the tires are aligned and the
back swing arm is folding straight
towards the center of the handlebars.
Disc brake rubbing
Adjust caliper position by carefully
turning the rear brake adjustment dial.
(see page 14)
Brake lever pulls all the way to the
throttle
Turn brake cable adjuster next to the
brake handle to reduce slack.
Riding conditions
Use only on flat, dry surfaces. Avoid
inclines and debris.
Battery is not fully charged
Charge for a full 4 hours for max
battery capacity
Damaged battery
Battery OFF
Kill switch ON
Battery not charged
Brake lever engaged
Do not store in extreme temperature.
Always store and charge in optimal
conditions (see Battery and Charger
Care section). Replace battery if
necessary.

Check power to wall outlet. Try a
