6.
You should always start with a lower temper
-
ature and only select a higher temperature
if it needed.
7. When the appliance has reached the desired
temperature, the last segment of the display
light up. As soon as the display is continu-
ously illuminated you can start to style your
hair.
8. Tip: Place a towel over your shoulders to pro-
tect your skin against possible heat exposure.
9. Divide the combed hair into small strands that
should not be wider than five centimetres.
If necessary separate the hair strands with a
bobby pin.
10. Firmly hold one strand of hair and move the
brush from top to bottom over the entire
length of the strand. For an optimal result,
we recommend moving the brush in such a
manner that the bristles are pointing away
from you.
11.
Tip: You can style with a slight curl for more
volume by briefly turning the appliance to
the inside or outside just before the ends
of the hair (depending on the type of curl
desired). Thus you produce a slight curl in
your hair.
The bristles of the hair straightening brush
get very hot, thus ensure that the bristles
never reach the scalp, or the skin of the
face or hands – danger of burn injury!
12. Repeat this procedure with all hair strands,
until the desired result is achieved.
13. To switch off the appliance, keep the ON/
OFF switch depressed for at least two sec-
onds and unplug the mains plug from the
electrical outlet.
14. Safety function: After 30 minutes the appli-
ance automatically switches off for safety
reasons. If you want to continue with the
hair styling, after a brief cool-down time,
switch the appliance on again via the ON/
OFF switch.
