USING YOUR COOKING PLATE
CLEANING AND CARE
1. Select the desired cooking tempe-
rature of the cooking plate by tur-
ning the dial to the required set-
ting (1-5).
2. When cooking, always use flat
bottomed saucepans, which make
good contact with the cooking
plate. Ideally, the saucepan bases
should be of the same size as the
cooking plates.
3. After use, switch off the appliance
by turning the temperature dial to
O/MIN and remove the plug from
the mains socket.
4. Due to cooking plates construc-
tion, re-sidual heat will remain
after switching off. This may be
used to keep food warm for a
short period.
Attention: After disconnecting,
the appliance is still very hot
for some time!
Turn the dial into the O/MIN
position, unplug the appliance
and wait until it is completely
cool before cleaning.
Allow the appliance to cool
before cleaning it.
1. Do not immerse any part of this
appliance in water or any other
liquid.
2. Clean the surface of the appli-
ance by wiping it with a soft damp
cloth. Do not use strong deter-
gents of abrasive cloths/liquid, as
this will damage the surface.
3. Then, thoroughly dry the surface
with a clean dry cloth.
4. All parts of the appliance must
be completely dry before using it
again or before storing it.
