INSTALLATION
Take out all the packing. If there is a safe film over the oven, tear it
off before use. Check carefully for damage. If any, immediately
notify dealer.
The manufacturer will not be responsible for damages caused by
inappropiate installation. Installation may only be carried out by
qualified personnel.
Two or more people are required to install or move this device. Not
doing it may result in bodily injury.
Install the duct (only for hoods with outside air outlets)
Caution: To reduce the risk of fire, metal ducts are
recommended.
Decide where the duct will be installed. Consider that a
straight, short path of the conduit will allow the hood to work
more efficiently.
Long conduits, with elbows or transitions will reduce the
performance of the hood. Whenever possible, use as few
elbows and transitions as possible.
Air should not be discharged into a chimney that is used to
extract fumes from appliances that burn gas or other fuels.
Air discharge regulations must be complied with.
Install the duct. Connect the round metal duct to the cover
and connect these parts to the hood body. Use adhesive tape
to seal the joints between the duct sections.
