Operation

Operating the die grinder

 

This Die Grinder is designed to operate on 90 PSIG. Lower 
pressure (below 90 PSIG) will reduce performance of 
the tool. Higher air pressure (over 90 PSIG) raises the 
performance of the tool beyond its rated capacity and 
could cause serious damage to the tool and the user. 
 
 
 
 
 

Installing the grinding stone 

 

WARNING:

 Disconnect the tool from the air supply before 

servicing or changing accessories.

WARNING:

  Always use ANSI approved grinding stones 

with the rated tool RPM.

 

Loosen the collet nut with the spanner wrenches enclosed.

 

Insert the grinding stone in the collet. If using a 1/8 in. collet 
stone, an adapter (not included) must be inserted before 
placing the stone into the tool.

 

Tighten the collet nut with the two spanner wrenches.

Removing the grinding stone 

 

 

WARNING:

 Disconnect the tool from the air supply before 

servicing or changing accessories.

 

Loosen the collet nut with the spanner wrenches.

 

Pull the grinding stone out and tighten the collec nut with the 
spanner wrenches.

Grinding and deburring 

 

WARNING:

 You must wear the ANSI approved eye 

protection during the operation; failure to follow this this may 
result in serious injury or damage to the operator.

WARNING:

 Hearing protection is strongly recommended. A 

[rotective respirator is recommended.

 

Connect the die grinder to the air supply.  

 

This tool features the safety lock-off mechanism.

 

Operate the tool by disengaging the lock-off mechanism 
and depressing the throttle lever to run the tool for grinding 
or deburring.
