10.1 Appendix-A Profile Parameters
Parameter Name
Description
Profile Name
The name of profile for user to customize.
Module profile
It can be chosen as 0, 1, 2 or 3. Normally, the
bigger number is, the faster read rate is. (only for
HT730UHF)
Power
The strength of RSSI signal. The higher it is, the
farther it communicates.
Inventory Time
A circle time of inventory.
Idle Time
The time between commands.
Target
State for each session. A, B, AB or BA can be
chosen. It enables to increase identification rate.
Session
It is an inventory process comprised of the reader
and the EPC tags. There are four sessions (S0, S1,
S2 and S3 depends on number of reader and tag.)
and only one can be chosen for an inventory round.
Encoding
There are four types of encoding: “FM0”, “M2”, “M4”
and “M8”. Different encoding type influences the
time of feedback speed and quality. “FM0” is the
fastest but with the lowest accuracy. “M8” is the
lowest but with the highest accuracy.
Q
Normally, it is set in “Dynamic” and reader adjusts
Q value automatically when scanning. If the
number of tags is small, user can set Q value in a
small number.
Start Q
As a start value in “Dynamic” mode; a fixed value in
“Fixed” mode.
Max Q
Maximum of Q when “Dynamic” is chosen.
