1. Open the battery compartment by removing the four screws that secure the bat-
tery compartment cover (

) and removing the cover (

).
2.
Locate the backup battery switch and LCD heater switch and turn them on.
3. Position the battery pack, make sure the battery contacts are aligned with the
contacts in the compartment, as shown in the following illustration.
