IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, you should follow basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric 

shock and injury to persons:

•  Use only with corresponding voltage (230 V, 50 Hz).

•  Make sure the socket where you plug it in the device is grounded.

•  Never immerse the power cord with the plug, kettle or Power Base (6) into water or any other liquid.

•  Do not use the kettle in the bathroom or near any source of water. Do not use outdoors.

•  Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handle (3).  

•  Switch off and unplug the appliance from the power outlet when not in use, before filling or emptying 

with water. Allow cooling before cleaning. 

•  Take care when pouring, pour slowly, and do not overfill the kettle.

•  Water can remain hot for a considerable time after boiling and can present a scald hazard. Keep the kettle 

Power Base (6), and the mains lead away from the edge of worktops and out of the reach of children.

•  Do not let that power cord hung from the edge of the table or work surface where it can accidentally 

catch on.

•  Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is use by or operated near children or infirm persons.

•  Unplug the Power Base (6) from the wall socket when not in use, before repositioning and before clean-

ing. Allow the kettle to cool down completely before cleaning and before storing away. 

•  Ensure that the Lid (2) is close before switching the kettle on; otherwise, it may not switch off.

•  Check that the kettle is properly located on the Power Base (6) before switching it on.

•  Do not switch on unless the kettle contains at least two cups of water, otherwise you may damage it.

•  Before switching on, make sure that in the kettle with sufficient water (not less than 1.0 L). Strictly prohib-

ited to turn on kettle when water below the minimum level, or if kettle is empty.

•  Do not fill about the “Max” on Water Level Guide (4) (1.8 Liter)

•  Remove the kettle from its Power Base (6) before filling or pouring.

•  Do not operate the appliance in the presence of explosive and on flammable liquid or fumes.

•  Do not place the kettle, Power Base (6), or power cord on or near any hot surfaces such as a gas flame, 

electric element, or in a heated oven. 

•  Do not use the kettle for any purpose other than its intended use as described in these instructions. This 

appliance is intended for normal domestic household use only. The use of accessory attachments other than 

those recommended by the manufacturer may cause safety hazards.

•  Do not operate the appliance with a damaged power cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions, or 

if it has been damaged in any manner. Return the complete appliance immediately to a service center or 

authorized service agent for inspection, and if necessary, adjustment or repair. 

•  Do not operate the product on an inclined surface. 

•  Do not operate unless the kettle contains the sufficient amount of water.
