Unplug the Base (5) from the wall socket when not in use, before repositioning and before
cleaning. Allow the kettle to cool down fully before cleaning and before storing away.

Ensure that the Lid (1) is closed before switching the kettle on, otherwise it may not switch off.

Check that the appliance is properly located on the Base (5) before switching it on.

Do not switch on unless the kettle contains at least 0.5 liter of water, otherwise you may
damage it.

Do not fill above the bottom of the max mark on the Water Level Gauge (7) 2.0 liters.

Remove the kettle from its Base (5) before filling or pouring.

Do not use the kettle for any purpose other than heating water.

APPLIANCE USE
Water Level Gauge

The Water Level Gauge (7) shows how much water do you have. If there isn’t enough water, please
add more.

Note:

Please observe that the water level does not exceed the MAX marking.

While the water runs though Filter (4), the kettle can immediately be placed on the Base (5) and
the I/O Switch (3) moved to the position I. However, prior to this close the Lid (1) until it snaps –
only in this way the safety boil-dry cut-out works reliably. The I/O Switch (3) will illuminate that the
appliance is heating.

Operation the kettle

You can operate the kettle in order to heat quickly up 2 liters of water at maximum. For this fill the
kettle to its full capacity up to the MAX mark on the scale.

Attention!

For filling remove the kettle from its Base (5). Only fill with cold water, never carbonated

water or other liquids like milk or similar.

During boiling a higher noise level expected due to the high voltage. The water from the first boiling
is not suitable for food preparation. Poor it out.

Automatic Boil Stop

Shortly after the water has started to boil, the appliance switches off automatically and the
Illuminated I/O Switch (3) extinguishes. If there is only little water in the kettle the boiling period
until automatic switch off will be extended.

If only warm water is desired, the heating process can be stopped at any time by resetting the I/O
Switch (3) to «O» position.

If you want to boil water again, the appliance can be switched on once again by pressing the I/O
Switch (3) to «I» position, after some time.
