“ZERO” OR “TARE” FUNCTION 

To weigh different loads consecutively without removing loads from the scale. Put first Load on the scale, get 
weight reading. Press M/Z button to the reset the LCD reading to “0” before adding next load. You can repeat 
this operation. 

Condition 1: “ZERO” function

When total sum of all load

s on scale≤4%

 of scale’s max. weight capacity. 

(4%=80 g when capacity is 2000g; 200g when capacity is 5000g) 

LCD will show “---“ or “0g” each time M/Z is pressed. “---“ means not stable, please wait for a moment. “0g” 
and meanwhile an icon “o” on lower left corner of LCD mean “M/Z” function is active. Max.  weight capacity 
remains unchanged. 

Condition 2: “TARE” function

When total sum of all loads on scale>4% of scale’s max. weight capacity. 
(4%=80 g when capacity is 2000g; 200g when capacity is 5000g) 

LCD will show “---“ or “0g” each time M/Z is pressed. “---“ means not stable, please wait for a moment. “0g” 
and meanwhile an icon “TARE”  on upper left corner of LCD mean “TARE” function is active. Max. weight 
capacity is reduced by total weight of all loads. 

Under this condition:

 

By pressing M/Z, you can see the total weight of all loads on the scale. If you want to weigh more loads, just 
press M/Z to reset LCD reading to “0” again. 

 AUTO SHUT OFF 

Auto shut-off occurs if display shows ‘0’ or shows the same weight reading for 2 minutes. 

WARNING INDICATORS 
Overload indication 

Scales might be overloaded. (Max. weight capacity is indicated on the scales). 
Please step off to avoid damage.  
The Error sign will appear on the display. 

Low battery 

When the battery needs replacing, the following will appear on the screen: 

Remove the battery from the scales and change it. Put a new one into the battery case. 

CLEANING AND CARE 

Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the scale in water or use chemical/abrasive cleaning 
agents. 
All plastic parts should be cleaned immediately after contact with fats, spices, vinegar and strongly flavored/colored 
foods. Avoid contact with acids citrus juices. 
Always use the scale on a hard, flat surface. DO NOT use on carpet.
