with used batteries, or mix batteries from different 

manufacturers or from different types.

Remove the batteries when unused for a period of time to 

prevent battery leakage in the device.

The screws shall be secured tightly after opening and closing of 
the battery compartment.
Substitution of components may impair intrinsic safety.
Clean the flashlight only with damp cloth to avoid static           
electricity.
Do not flash the light beam directly into eyes.
Always use the device following the regulations of each country 
with used batteries or mixed batteries.
Where a static-generating mechanism is identified, such as          
repeated brushing against clothing, suitable precautions shall be 
taken, eg. the use of anti-static footwear.
