To remove the combustion head, pull it out. Once removed, check that the air and gas holes are not obstructed. Clean the combustion
head by means of compressed air or scrape off the scale using a metallic brush

Adjusting the electrodes
Important Note: Check the ignition and detection electrodes after removing/adjusting the combustion head.

The detection electrode must be aligned to the centre, as shown in the figure.
6.7 Replacing the electrodes
To replace the ignition electrodes, proceed as follows:
1
remove the burner cover
2
disconnect the electrodes cables;
3
loose the screw

that fasten the electrodes group to the combustion head;
4
remove the electrodes and replace them paying attention to the measures showed in previous paragraph.
Reassemble the burner by fllowing the procedure in the reversed order.
ATTENTION: avoid the ignition and detection electrodes to contact metallic parts (blast tube, head, etc.), other-
wise the boiler operation would be compromised. Check the electrodes position after any intervention on the
combustion head.
