Unify OpenStage 40 User Guide
TO SWITCH FROM HANDPIECE TO HANDSET:
While on a call, to switch from handpiece to handset:
1.
Hold the Speaker key down.
2.
Replace handpiece.
3.
Remove finger from Speaker key.
CHANGING RING VOLUME:
This function must be completed with the handpiece in
place.
1.
Press the Plus or Minus key.
“Ringer Volume?” will appear on the display.
2.
Press OK key to confirm.
3.
Press Plus key to increase volume, or Minus key to
decrease volume.
4.
Press OK key to save.
CHANGING RING TONE:
This function must be completed with the handpiece in
place.
1.
Press Plus or Minus key.
2.
Scroll down to “Ringer Tone?”.
3.
Press Tick key to confirm.
4.
Press the Plus or Minus keys to select a ring tone for
your incoming calls.
5.
Press the OK key to save.
CHANGING CALL/SPEAKER VOLUME:
While on a call, to adjust the call volume or speaker
volume:
1.
Press the Plus or Minus key.
“Speaker Volume” will appear on the display.
2.
Press Plus key to increase volume, or Minus key to
decrease volume.
3.
Press the OK key to save.
The OK and Navigator keys are essential to the simple operation of the Siemens Openstage
handsets. The Display area shows functions relevant to the current call status. The OK key is a
confirmation of the displayed question.
