Using another telephone in the same way as
your own
You can log on to another telephone belonging to the Hipath/OpenScape 4000
system using a personal identification number (PIN). This also applies to
telephones in networked Hipath/OpenScape 4000 systems, for example at
other company locations. At the other telephone you can then
• make calls and assign the charges to cost centers,
• make calls and assign the charges to specific projects,
• check your mailbox,
• use a number saved on your phone for saved number redial,
• enter appointments.
Using an internal PIN, you can have your calls diverted to a telephone in the
office or department where you will be for a temporary period (call forwarding -
"follow me").
Logging on to another phone
Prerequisite:
You have been assigned a PIN by your administrator. You require
an internal PIN for calls within your own Hipath/OpenScape 4000 system, while
for calls involving other Hipath/OpenScape 4000 systems in the integrated
network you require a network-wide PIN.

If you have several PINs and wish to use another one, select the other PIN.
