receive a page.
• Re- register both handsets (see page 12) (1 only).
• The battery pack may be weak. Charge the battery for 15- 20 hours.
• The handset may be too far from the main base.
• Place the main base away from appliances or metal objects.
• Change the digital security code (see page 32).
• Check the battery pack to ensure there is a secure connection.
• Make sure ringer volume isn't set to "off."
• Keep both handsets away from microwave ovens, computers, remote control toys, wireless
microphones, alarm systems, intercoms, room monitors, fluorescent lights, and electrical
appliances.
• Move the main base to another location or turn off the source of interference.
• The call was answered before the second ring.
• The call was placed through a switchboard.
• Charge the handset.
• Your Caller ID service may not be active; contact your local telephone service provider.
• Make sure the battery pack is connected to the handset and fully charged.
• Re- register the non- functional handset.
• Make sure the other handset is not already in use. Both handsets cannot be in talk mode at
the same time.
• Place the handset in the main base for at least 5 seconds to re- register to the main base.
• Make sure the handset is not too far from the main base when trying to use.
Severe noise interference.
