[MENU/ENTER]
to save & exit from the menu mode.
Only channels 01 - 08 and 41 - 48 are available for Duplex.
NOTE
Check with your local Retailer for information on available
repeaters.
Scanning
The X66’ Scanning feature allows you to search for active channels
automatically.
There are 3 scanning modes;
Open Scan (OS),
Group Scan (GS) and
Master Scan (M.SCN) (a special case of Group Scan).
During SCAN the X66’ only checks channels or frequencies that are in
the SCAN Memory, which are indicated by the M (memory) icon. The
X66’ maintains two SCAN Memories; one for Open Scan (OS) mode
and the

you to use the radio more effectively.
NOTE
Group Scan and Master Scan modes share the same
SCAN Memory.
1. Press
[SCAN]
to start Scanning.
2. The SCAN icon appears.
3. The scan direction can be changed at any time by pressing
/
on the remote mic.
4. Press
[SCAN]
to stop Scanning.
