VOX
VOX is the automatic transmitting function by inputting voice into the VOX
headset mic without pressing the PTT key.
While headset microphone is not connected, VOX function is inactive even if
vox level setting is from 1 to 5.
VOX
appears when VOX level setting is from 1 to 5.
1. Press

select the desired setting. The 6 VOX levels are
from 1 (high sensitivity) to 5 (low sensitivity)
and Off.

to save and exit.
Vibrate Alert
When Vibrate alert is on the UH820SX-NB will vibrate over a 3 second period
on an incoming (RX) signal.
The UH820SX-NB vibrates only when it meets all the following conditions.
•
Vibrate setting is on.
•
UH820SX-NB is in idle mode (Vibrate alert is not available when in the
Menu setting, Scan Mode or Monitor Mode)
•
DCS/CTCSS code is matched if the DCS/CTCSS is set on the channel.
•
30 seconds have passed since a previous vibration.
•
60 seconds have passed since the last transmission.
