No TX
1. For CB mobile, after reset , check the external speaker MIC , if MIC is defective , simply order
the speaker MIC from Uniden Spareparts, email [email protected],
hotline 1300366 895. If not, please send unit back for repair.
2. For handheld, after reset, if still not working, please send it back for repair.
No RX or Poor RX
After reset, if it is still unable to receive active channels, please send unit back for repair.
Low Transmit Power
Transmitting output power for all CB mobile radios are 5W , but TX power for handheld radios are
from 0.5W to 5W, for 5W radios , they have three levels of TX power, “Low, Medium and High”,
please select high power to extend the range. Otherwise, send back for repair.
No TX audio
1. For CB mobile, check the speaker MIC , if SpeakerMIC is defective, simply order the speaker
MIC from Uniden Spareparts, if not, please send unit back for repair.
2. For handheld, please send it back for repair.
No RX audio
Send unit back for repair.
Not scanning
After reset, if it is still unable to scan, please send unit back for repair.
No LCD
Send unit back for repair.
Buttons/ PTT button Malfunction
Send unit back for repair.
Battery not charging (handheld only)
1. Check the AC adaptor and desktop charger or cigarette car charger.
2. Check the battery.
If any of the above items is defective, please email or call our Spareparts to order.
Battery not hold charging (handheld only)
Order battery from Uniden Spareparts.
Antenna Malfunction
If Antenna Rib is broken, you can order it from Uniden Spareparts. Others, we would suggest the
customer to go to antenna specialist to check the performance with specification.
