Special Features
Follow these steps to select a different channel in a
bank as the priority channel.
1. Manually select the channel you want to select
as the priority channel.
2. Press
FNC
+
PRI
.
P
appears above the selected
channel number.
3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for the channel in each
bank you want to program as a priority channel.
Note: If all priority channel is locked out,
All Loc
appears.
Monitor
1. While press and holding
MON
, Monitor Mode is
turned on.
2. To exit Monitor Mode, release
MON
.
Using Keylock
Use the scanner's keylock to protect it from
accidental program changes. When the scanner's
keys are locked, the only controls that operate are
,
PWR
,
FNC
,
MON
,
LIGHT
and
RSM/HOLD
.
To turn on keylock, press
FNC
+
.
appears. To turn off keylock, press
FNC
+
.
disappears.
Note: Using keylock does not prevent the scanner
from scanning channels.
Using the Display Backlight
To turn on the display light for easy viewing at night,
press
FNC
+
LIGHT
. The display lights for 15
seconds. To turn off the light sooner, press
FNC
+
LIGHT
again.
