Welcome to a new level of home security.
Install and set up your LightCam 40HD.
• Turn off the power to your home/business before installing the LightCam.
• Connect the light fixture wires to the junction box wires with wire connectors.
- Match white to white, black to black wires to the house’s wires.
• Install the mounting bracket and connect the light fixture.
• Once completely mounted, turn the power back on.
• The LED on the camera will turn green and, after 10 seconds, it will turn off.
• After 15 seconds, the light will quickly flash green to indicate
the intialization is complete.
• Go to your device's Wi-Fi settings and connect to the camera's Wi-Fi
(”MyHomeCam” using “000000” as the default Wi-Fi password).
Install LightCam App.
• The app is available on Apple Store and Google Play.
1) Search Local Network
• Open the LightCam app and click the “+” symbol to add a new camera.
• Click “Search in Local Network”.
• It will automatically search for the camera Device ID (DID) and display
the camera name and Device ID (DID). Enter the camera default
password: “000000” and save the password to complete the connection.

Connect your iPhone to the camera’s Wi-Fi connection (Point to Point-P2P)
• Press the reset button on the back of the camera for one second.
• Once connected to Wi-Fi, choose from one of three ways to connect
the camera.
2) Scan QR Code
• Scan the QR Code on the back of the camera to
retrieve the camera name and Device ID (DID).
• Enter the camera default password: “000000” and
save the password.

3) Manual Input
• Select “Manual Input” and retrieve the camera
name then input the Device ID (DID) located
on the back of the camera.
• Enter the camera default password: “000000”
and save the password.
