Uniden's GPS205 UHF-CB Radio with GPS is designed to meet the splash
proof standard of JIS2.
The GPS205 will only meet this standard if fully assembled and all rubber
seals and covers are fully maintained and correctly fitted.
This is NOT a rating that allows for the unit to be submersed.
The GPS205 does not meet this standard when charging or when using a
VOX headset or speaker mic.
For maximum operating time use high quality alkaline batteries such as 'Energiser'.
Rechargeable batteries may also be used.
