Adjusting the Handset Ringer and Earpiece Volume

Handset ringer tone and volume

Press

or 

in standby mode to select one of five ringer

tones and volume combinations.

Earpiece volume

Pressing

or 

during a call will change the earpiece volume

of the handset. This setting will remain in effect after the 
telephone call has ended.

Ringer Mute

You can temporarily mute the ringer tone. (The main base unit will continue to
ring.) When receiving an incoming call, press 

end

on either handset to stop the

ringing. The handsets will ring beginning with the next incoming call.

When you press 

in Maximum mode or 

in Low mode, 

the handset beeps rapidly.
