RECORD VIDEO
When connected to a car charger, the camera
automatically goes into Video mode and starts recording
when you start the car if Automatic Record is enabled. A
counter displays to indicate recording is in progress.
If the camera is not recording, press
REC
to start
recording. A counter displays. To stop recording, press
REC
and the counter disappears, indicating that the
recording has stopped.
If the car charger is unplugged while the camera is
recording, the camera will power down in 10 seconds.
If the car charger is unplugged while the camera is NOT
recording, the camera will power down according to
the Auto Shutdown setting (see page 16).If OFF is
selected, the camera remains on until the internal battery
runs out.
SAVE CURRENT RECORDING (LOCK FILE)
You can save the file currently recording so it will not be
overwritten if the microSD gets full.
1. While recording, press
Mode
. The Locked File icon
( ) displays, indicating that the recording has been
locked and will not be overwritten by new video
clips.
2. Press
MODE
again to unlock the file.
You cannot lock a file that has already been
recorded.
