(if available).

will transmit on the 1 watt range.

Cause: Low voltage.

Recharge or replace the 
batteries.

(Use high quality alkaline 
batteries).

Battery will not hold a charge.

Cause: Battery has developed a

memory.

Periodically, drain the NiMH 
battery before recharging.
(This can be done by 
listening to the weather 
channel until the 
battery drains).

Strange Display

Cause: Inver ted display has 

been activated.
