In the next dialogue select the file system
for the specific hard disk. Under “Format
this partition with the following settings”,
select FAT, FAT32 or NTFS as the File
System.
For “Allocation unit size” leave the default
setting and give your drive a “Volume
label”. Once completed, click
Next
.
At the last dialogue “Completing the Create Partition Wizard”, click Finish and start working
with your external hard disk. Please repeat the above procedure for each of the external
1394 SBP2 drives you attach to your system for the first time.
