INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTOMATIC TEST
(SELF DIAGNOSTICS /SELF-TEST FUNCTION OF EMERGENCY LIGHTING)
Battery charging time: 24h
1 ) Install the lighting fixture according to the installation manual
2 ) After switching on the unit, it automatically carries out the following self-test:

24 hours after the installation
Performing a 3 hours long term test

Each 10 seconds:
Performing a quick test to check if the battery is connected

Weekly:
Performing a 5s function test, check for battery interruption, charger error, lamp failure or led driver failure

Yearly:
Performing a 3 hours long term test
All test functions are preset at the factory and do not have to be adjusted on site. If needed all the parameters can be adjusted through the DALI line.
3 ) Meaning of the two colors LED status displays

Inhibit Mode, can be activate through the DALI line. In this mode the unit is disabled for DC
operation. Useful if the unit is temporary not used for emergency when the power cut off but
the tests are maintained and the battery remains used. (good for the battery)
