4.1 File Sharing in Microsoft Windows 98
IEEE802.11b USB WLAN allows the sharing of files between computers that are logged onto the
same wireless network. Let’s assume that you want your folder “ My Documents “ to be shared with
other computers and the wireless network:
1. First, locate the folder “ My Documents “ and right click it.
2. Select “ Sharing “ from the available options.
3. Select “ Shared As “ to open your folder for file sharing. You can also select and define the level
of access you want for your folder.
