CONNECTING A GAMES CONSOLE
SONY PS3
Different models/versions of PS3 come
with different types of connecting cables
included with the console.
The ideal way to connect the PS3 to a TV
fitted with a HDMi socket is by using
the HDMi connector on the PS3 to the
HDMi input on the TV (where fitted). This
will give superior sound and picture
quality over other connecting methods
and is a very quick and simple way to
connect the console to the TV.
If your PS3 did not come with HDMi
connector or your TV does not have
a HDMi socket, please use option 1 below.
Option 1 – AV Multi to SCART/AV
Option 2 – With HDMI cable.
A HDMI cable can output both video and
audio and enables you to enjoy
digital-quality video and audio with
minimal loss of picture quality
