Scanning with PhotoShop Elements – Setup
Follow the steps in this section each time you wish to use the scanner with Adobe
Photoshop Elements.
1. Turn on your computer and scanner. The upper-right LED light is on when scanner is
connected with power.
2. Turn on other devices, if necessary.
3. Open Adobe PhotoShop Elements.
4. Launch the scanner driver, SilverFast Ai, on your Macintosh or PC-compatible as
follows.
Macintosh.
Choose SilverFast Ai from the “Import” submenu of the Adobe PhotoShop
Elements “File” menu.
PC-compatible.
Choose SilverFast Ai on the “Import” submenu of the “Adobe
PhotoShop Elements “File” menu.

on CD.
