6.4 Replacing and Cleaning Consumables

Always use a mask and gloves when replacing components to prevent ingestion of microscopic
particles resulting from wear of components.
Use the following tools, and refer to the photographs, when replacing cleaning components.
Contact the manufacturer’s service division for this work if the necessary tools are not available.
1) Phillips screwdriver : No.2
2) Hex socket wrench : (1) 3mm (2) 5mm
3) Torque wrench
: 5mm hexagonal socket, set to 11 N.m torque

Phillips Torque screwdriver : Set to 0-4 N.m torque.
5) Spanners
: 14mm or equivalent adjustable spanner
6) Vacuum grease
: For replacing O rings.
7) Solvent
: Use a solvent such as ethyl alcohol which has no effect on
rubber components.
8) Paper towels etc
