The Green Ready----Light
Light
Light
Light actually has two functions. When the Strobe’s capacitor is fully charged the
green light comes on indicating the strobe is ready to fire. Its second function is to indicate low battery
– if there is insufficient battery power the light will blink continuously
Positioning of Slave Flash Pick-Up Sensor
The UXDS-1 Strobe has a pick-up sensor located at the front bottom of the strobe body which detects a
sudden flash the Strobe fires instantaneously. For this reason the sensor should be aligned so that it is
slightly forward of the camera flash when adjusting the arm configuration for picture taking.
Note: Fiber Optic Cable can also be used by inserting the optic cable jack into this flash pick up sensor
hole to synchronize with the camera’s built-in flash for triggering the strobe under the underwater
condition which slave function is not suitable.
Optional Fiber Optic Cable Kit (Model No. UXDS-FOC) can be purchased from ULTRAMAX online store
or thru it’s Authorized Dealers.
