UIC PP795 PIN Pad with Signature Capture
Setup an Authorization Method for payments that use the PIN Pad & mag-stripe

In Configuration Manager, under Tables - Authorization Methods, select Add New Method

File Name: Enter a name (KPDEBIT)

Select the Type: Keystroke Payment Module
-
Select OK to continue
-
Type will be set to Debit(ATM)

Capture Signature should be Off (for Debit Cards as it is not required)

Under Card Reader, select PIN Pad-DUKPT Encryption (Debit/ATM Cards)
You are now ready to use the UIC PP795 PIN Pad device in Keystroke POS
When a Credit Card payment type is selected, Keystroke and the UIC PIN PAD device will prompt the customer to swipe
the credit card. The request is then processed for approval.
When a Debit/ATM payment type is selected, the clerk will be asked to confirm the amount and press Enter (unless Skip
Tendered is ON). Then both Keystroke and the UIC PIN PAD device will prompt the customer to swipe the Debit/ATM
card and enter their PIN number and select Enter. The request is then processed for approval.
Troubleshooting
The PP795 has a build in Diagnostic Menu:
1. Click [CLR] + [3] at the same time
2. Enter password1 as "87806799" and then click [ENT].
3. Enter password2 as "87806799" and then click [ENT].
4. Use the Lower Purple Button as a Down Scroll, Upper Purple for an Up Scroll.
5. Select Hardware Tests to test the MSR Reader if needed
6. Select TOUCH SCREEN SETUP for Touchscreen and Signature Pad testing.
