Speaker Modes & Controls

The

UGO

speaker can operate in two different modes

Mode 1.

Plug the speaker into any device that has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The

device

will control playback. Note: When plugged directly to an audio device, the only buttons that will function are the volume

up the volume down and on and off. The other buttons only work when using a Micro SD card.

Mode 2.

Transfer your music to a Micro SD card and insert the card into the speaker.

The

speaker

 will control playback.

WHAT THE BUTTONS DO

The Power on/off button turns the UGO on and off.
The volume down (««) & volume up (»») buttons control volume.

You must push and hold

 the button to change volume.

When used

with a Micro SD card

Play or pause by pushing the second button from the left.
The volume down (««) & volume up (»») buttons control volume. Push once to change tracks.
The EQ button has 6 different modes of music. Choose the mode that fits your music best.
Push the repeat button once and the UGO will play the current song repeatedly. To exit the repeat mode, push either the volume up or
down button once.

WHAT THE LIGHTS MEAN

A steady blue light means that the device is - on - charged and ready to play.
A blinking blue light means that the device is - on - and that there is a micro SD card inserted into the speaker.
A steady orange light means the device is charging.
A blinking orange light means the speaker is charging and has a micro SD card inserted in it.

CHARGING

When the blue light dims or audio quality degrades the speaker needs to be charged.
Charge the speaker by plugging the charging cable into any USB port. This cord can be found inside the box.

CHARGING WHILE PLAYING

You can charge and play the UGO when connected to a device like a cell phone, Kindle or I Pod. To do this use the 3.5mm headphone
cable to connect the device to the UGO. This cable will carry the audio signal. Connect the USB charging cable into a wall or car
adaptor. This cable will charge the UGO.

CHARGING FROM A COMPUTER

Using Windows OS. Plug the charging cable into the USB port of the computer and the UGO will charge as it plays. The headphone
cable is unnecessary; the audio signal will pass through the charging cable.
Using Mac OS. The speaker

will not

play and charge at the same time if you are charging the UGO from a Mac USB port. To play

audio from a Mac OS computer you must connect the 3.5mm headphone jack to the Mac. To listen to audio from a Mac and charge at
the same time you must use a wall adaptor or car charger. If audio is not playing in this mode turn the power button off and on with
both cables plugged into the UGO.

CARE OF YOUR UGO

Do not let the UGO come in contact with water. Do not leave it in direct sunlight or other hot place. Do not store your UGO with a
dead battery. Clean with soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals to clean. Do not drop or place heavy objects on the UGO. Never try to
repair or open your UGO yourself.
