Messages:
When you press “speak” the message will be heard in the areas selected, while the rest will be
muted.
Background music:
When the speak switch is depressed, if you connect a music input to the amplifier, all the areas
will have music.
This function can also be used for messages or time signals, using module WX-30 in the
amplifier (UDE series AX, PX).
Adjusting the sound:
Attenuators can be used to adjust the sound level of each speaker or group of speakers
independently.
Music with level adjustment and message priority:
Use attenuators with message priority to adjust the level of music at each point, between
maximum and zero, with the messages broadcast at full power, automatically.
Messages only:
Speakers can be connected so that only messages are heard (no music).
Music only:
The opposite to the above can also be carried out, i.e. with music output only at given points,
which will be muted when a message is issued.
All the operating variants in the standard mode described herein are compatible with each other,
and may even coexist in the same zone (see installation manual fig. 2).
System functions:
In this operating mode, music or messages may be heard only in the areas selected, with the
remaining areas muted.
Attenuators can be used.
(Check with us for the other functions described in normal mode, message priority, etc.)
The function for muting the music signal while messages are being broadcast is a standard
feature in the amplifiers UDE AX-109, AX-309 and AX-459. In other models in the range (AX-59,
PX-9) this is obtained with the multifunction priority module and pre-message carillon WX-30 or
with the simple priority module WX-33. Check with us for other devices.
