Using the Tools User Defaults Option
The
User Defaults
option allows you to restore Firewall and Parental Control factory
defaults to the device. You can also reset the device from this screen.
Steps
To reset firewall and parental controls to factory defaults or reset the system:
1. Access the web interface.
2. Click the
Tools
link from the top of the screen.
3. Click
User Defaults
from the left side of the screen. The
User Defaults
fields are
explained following this screen example.
Label
Description
User Name
Defines a new user name for the
user
account to access the
web interface of the DDW262.G.
New Password
Defines a new password for the user account to access the
web interface of the DDW262.G.
Confirm Password
Confirms the password when re-entered.
