LCC Respira 1 is a Low Cost & Comfortable Powered Air Purifying
Respirator, designed as respiratory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
for medical staff dealing with highly infectious disease. As an air-purifying
respirator (APR) it can also be used in other respiratory-hazardous
condition.
The equipment meets the requirements and testing by BPFK,
Indonesian Ministry of Health.
A. Components and Functions
The equipment is made of a mask mask, connected by inhalation hose
(CPAP), to the filter and electronic section.
LCC-Respira is equipped with HEPA filter (can be replaces with other filter
in accordance to the use requirement), able to sieve and filter micro particles
and virus, without stifling or suffocating the user. The filter is replacable
after certain length of usage, ensuring safety in long term usage. Clean air is
pumped to the mask to ease breathing,
The electronic section employs an electromotor to pump the filtered air.
Electric controller is embedded to regulate the blower rate, according to
adjustable settings. On intermediate flow, battery powering the motor can
last up to 8 hours.
