5. Assembly & Repair
This unit must be serviced or repaired by the U.S. Jaclean, Inc. only.
• The unit has no user-serviceable parts contained within. DO NOT attempt to
repair, disassemble, or modify the unit by yourself.
• U.S. Jaclean, Inc. is not responsible for any eventual damages caused by
improper or faulty use.
6. The Power Plug and Cord
• If the power cord becomes damaged, it must be replaced by its manufacturer,
its service agent, or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid injury or further
damage.
• Check to see whether the voltage on your power outlet corresponds to the
voltage listed on the unit. (Alternating current [AC] only).
• Do not use excessive force when disconnecting the power plug from the
electrical outlet.
• Do not disconnect the power plug with wet hands. Malfunction or electric shock
may result.
• If the power cord is damaged, do not operate the unit.
• If the plug does not fit snugly into an electrical outlet, do not attempt to operate
the unit.
PRODUCT CARE & STORAGE
• Before moving, repairing, or cleaning the unit, be sure to disconnect the power
plug from the electrical outlet.
• If you do not intend to use the unit for an extended period of time, we advise that
you neatly wind the power cord and store the entire unit in an environment that is
free of both dust and moisture.
• Do not store the unit near intense heat or an open flame.
• Do not leave the unit under direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
• For cleaning purposes, do not immerse the unit in any liquid.
To clean the fabric cover of the roller:
• Untie and unzip the cloth, then separate it from the rest of the unit.
• Wash the cloth in a mixture of cold water and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and
hang dry.
To clean the rest of the unit:
• Moisten a soft cloth in clean water and wring dry. Do not use chemically treated
cloths.
• Gently wipe all hard surfaces of the unit. Then wipe again with a clean, dry cloth or
paper towel.
