4.  Thread lifting strap through backside of metal 

buckle and loop through front. (See Figures 4-5)

5.  With a straight back, bend knees slightly and adjust 

lifting strap to item being lifted until there is weight 

on shoulders. Place hands on item, palms flat, 

fingers pointing up. (See Figure 6)

NOTE: To lift items higher, bend knees more 
while taking in excess slack from lifting strap. 

6.  Confirm each other's state of readiness. When ready,  

simultaneously stand up and straighten arms until 

elbows lock. (See Figure 7)

IMPORTANT! Keep arms straight to stabilize 

object being lifted.

IMPORTANT! When lifting on stairs, keep item 

centered and strap tension consistent.
