STRAPPING NOT SEALING
1. Make sure machine is properly heated up (3-4 mins.).
2. Clean residue from top and bottom of heater blade
with Scotch-Brite™ pad (S-11724). See "MAINTENANCE/
CLEANING" (page 3).
STRAPPING JAMS IN INLET GROOVE
3. Press RESET button on front panel.
4. If jam remains, turn power switch OFF and pull strapping
firmly until loose. (See Figure 10)
5. If jam remains, open top and loosen set screw on strap
guide. (See Figure 11) Remove pin and shaft holder and
pull strapping until loose. Reverse to reassemble.
6. If jam still remains, remove strap inlet guides to access
guide assembly. (See Figure 12) Remove socket head
bolts and remove holder arm. (See Figure 11) Lift out shaft
holder and remove jam. Reverse to reassemble.
STRAPPING DOES NOT APPEAR IN STRAP OUTLET
Loosen strap outlet using two Phillips head screws and pull
middle plate out slightly. (See Figure 13) If jam is under rollers,
follow "STRAPPING JAMS IN INLET GROOVE" above.
MACHINE WILL NOT RUN
1. Ensure power switch is ON and illuminated. If switch is not
illuminated, check power cord plug.
2. If machine will still not run, turn power switch OFF and
open top. Unscrew fuse located next to the motor timer
and remove fuse. (See Figure 14) If faulty, replace with
10-amp fuse only. Close top and turn power switch ON.
