it’s

 

time

 

for

 

the

 

user

 

to

 

take

 

their

 

medication.

  

 

It

 

will

 

make

 

the

 

correct

 

dosage

 

available

 

at

 

the

 

correct

 

time

 

each

 

day,

 

at

 

all

 

other

 

times

 

the

 

pills

 

are

 

securely

 

locked

 

inside

 

the

 

dispenser.

 

 

When

 

the

 

alarm

 

sounds

 

the

 

shutter

 

will

 

be

 

unlocked,

 

the

 

pills

 

are

 

removed

 

from

 

the

 

dispenser

 

by

  

tilting

 

it

 

through

printed

 

discs.

 

These

 

discs

 

identify

 

the

 

day

 

of

 

the

 

week

 

and

 

the

 

appropriate

 

number

 

of

 

doses

 

per

 

day

 

(between

 

1

 

and

 

4).

 

A

 

blank

 

disc

 

is

 

provided

 

for

 

those

 

on

 

5

 

or

 

more

 

doses

 

per

 

day.

 

 

Place

 

the

 

appropriate

 

disc

 

for

 

the

 

required

 

pill

 

dosage

 

on

 

top

 

of

 

the

 

tray

 

taking

 

care

 

to

 

line

up

 

the

 

holes

 

and

 

push

 

down

 

over

 

the

 

4

 

locating

 

pins.

 

Use

 

the

 

disc

 

as

 

a

 

guide

 

when

 

placing

 

the

 

pills.

  

 

    

Certain
