2.8 Installing the Memory
Before installing memory, ensure that the memory you have is compatible with the
motherboard and processor. Check the TYAN Web site at
http:// www.tyan.com for
details of the type of memory recommended for your motherboard.

This platform supports eight (4+4) DDR4 sockets, Registered DDR4 up to 512GB,
LR (Load Reduced) DIMM DDR4 up to 1024GB, and LRDIMM 3DS DDR4 up to
2048 GB

DDR4 data transfer rates of 1600,1866 and 2133 MT/s are supported

1.2V DDR4 DIMMs are supported

All installed memory will automatically be detected. No jumpers or settings
need to be changed for memory detection.

All memory must be of the same type and density.
