2.2.3      Installing the Outer Rails to the Rack 

 

NOTE

:

 Before mounting the TYAN FT70-B7100 in a rack, ensure that all internal 

components have been installed and that the unit has been fully tested. However, to 
make the installation easier, we suggest that you remove all HDD trays before you 
insert the chassis to the rack. 

 

1.  Fix the outer rail/bracket assembly to the frame.   

   

 

2.  Screw the outer rail to the rack. 

 

 

 

3.  Pull the middle rail fully extended in lock position, ensure ball bearing retainer is 

located at the front of the middle rail.
