Rear Panel Functions

1.

A/C Input

- Connects the amplifier to A/C power via the power cord supplied. Unless otherwise

specified, your amplifier is designed to operate on 120 volts A/C, 60 cycles.

2.

 Fuse

- See Fuse Chart

3.

 Power Switch

- Turns power on.

4

.

 Speaker Output Jacks

- There are 4 speaker output jacks.  Nominal impedance is 4-8-16

ohms.  The output section has the ability to run a set of speaker loads in parallel. Duel 4 ohm jacks
can be used to take two 8ohm speaker loads and combine them to a 4 ohm load. NEVER
OPERATE YOUR AMPLIFIER WITHOUT A PROPER SPEAKER LOAD CONNECTED.  Be sure
to match the impedance of your cabinet with the impedance (output) of the amplifier.

5.

 Effects Loop-

The loop is a multi-function series circuit with optional buffers on either side of

the effects chain. In its passive mode it acts as only a series insertion point. Upon activation either
the

Send

 or

Return

buffers can be activated and the level that passes through them adjusted.

The buffers will help mitigate any line level loss and impedance mismatch that could incur with
non-buffered (True-Bypass) effects.

Send Jack -

Sends signal to effects.

(1/4” Mono Jack)

Send Control

–

To engage the effect buffer the pot must be pulled out. Once engaged the

control will adjust the amount of signal that passes from the preamp stage to the

Effect(s).  Adjust this control to keep clipping down within effect signal chain.

A unity setting with nothing inserted into loop is 3 o’clock.

Return Jack -

Signal from effects is reintroduced into the amplifier here.

(1/4” Mono Jack)

Return Control

- To engage the effect buffer the pot must be pulled out. Once engaged the

control will adjust the amount of signal that passes from the effect(s) to the power stage.
Adjusting this level controls the amount of signal that is reintroduced from effects.

Adjust this control to keep clipping within the power stage down.

A unity setting with nothing inserted into loop is around 10

o’clock.
