INSTALLATION FAULTS AND THEIR SOLUTIONS

FAULT

SOLUTION

1

  The indicator light on the power

  Check for 230 Volt at the electricity outlet

  supply box is not lit

  Check that the power supply box is connected to the 
  supply voltage

  The ON / STBY indicator light on the

  Ensure that the indicator light in the power supply 

  thermostat is not lit

  box is on, if not see solution to the problem.

  Check that the quick connect cables are properly 
  connected to the thermostat and the power supply 
  box

  The damper does not respond when the

  Make sure that the remote control is not switched

  Check that the thermostat and damper connections

  1/3 and 2/3

  are not interchanged.  For example, thermostat # 1
  is connected to the T1 entry and the damper is 
  connected to the +D2 and -D2 terminals

  Check that the thermostat connections to the power
  supply box are in order. (See solution to Fault 1)

  Check that 230 Volt is supplied to the power supply
  box  (See Fault 1)

  If the connections were checked and were OK as 
  per specification, operate the damper with the AUTO
  button on the receiver.  If the damper reacts, then 
  check the batteries.

  Check for 12 Volt supply at the motor terminals 
  when the motor is intended to turn.

  The damper does not close completely or

  Check correct connection between the motor and the

  USING THE RC 11 TO ACTIVATE THE PROPORTIONAL DAMPER

  Before activating :

  Make sure that the power supply box is connected
  to the correct power supply.  Also check that the
  green indicator light on the power supply box is on.

  

Battery replacement and real time clock

  setting

  Slide down the battery cover that is located at the back
  of the remote control.  Insert 2 x 1.5V  AAA batteries.
  After placing the batteries, the real time clock on the display
  will blink 0:00.
  Set the actual time by pressing the +/- buttons.  When the digits 
  show the real time, press SET for setting the time.
  The real time clock can also be set using the CLOCK button
  and then the same procedure using the +/- buttons and SET.

  

The remote control signal can be received at a distance up to 7m

  

Neither the remote control not the receiver should be exposed to sunlight, flourescent light or any 

heat source.

  

Communciations between receiver and wireless handset is done via infrared signal.  Therefore, the wireless

  

handset must have line of sight to the receiver.
