INSTRUCTIONS ON The INSIde Of The dOOR OR
IN The RefRIgeRATOR COMpARTMeNT.
For the best cooling performance:
Let air move freely inside the entire food compartment.
Give 2” around back and sides.
If you open the door(s) too often, the temperature
inside the freezer and fresh food compartment does
not become stable. Allow the refrigerator to operate for
about one hour after each adjustment change before
you examine the contents.
5.2 Freezer Compartment
The freezer compartment is made to keep pre-frozen
food frozen and not to quick freeze food. Keep
pre-frozen foods in the freezer compartment.
The refrigerator control panel is between the freezer
compartment and the fresh food compartment. To
maintain the operating control functions of the fridge
a 12 volt DC power supply is necessary, if your house
battery gets below 12 volts the fridge will beep. You may
charge your house battery by turning your generator on.
5.3 Norcold Refrigerator
Pressing and holding the MODE button will cycle
through the four mode choices. Release the mode
button when it stops on LP GAS mode.
The TEMP SET (thermostat) button controls the
refrigerator and freezer temperature. Press and hold the
TEMP SET button to select the desired temperature
setting. The temperature settings are shown in the form
of numbers, never set the temperate above “2”.
The temperature LED turns off after 10 seconds.
If the gas does not ignite within 30 seconds, the
refrigerator gas valve automatically closes and the
operating controls select an alternate energy source.
The LED will continue to flash until the refrigerator
is turned OFF then ON. To turn fridge off hold on/off
button for 5 second to turn off. If the gas does not ignite,
check your propane tanks. If the propane tanks seem
empty call Twin Anchors Base for assistance.
5.4 Flame Blowing Out
If the flame blows out due to windy conditions try to
avoid the wind blowing against the wall where the
vent outlets are located. If the trouble persists, set the
thermostat to MAX. Make sure to set the thermostat
back to MED., after conditions have calmed down.
5.5 Storing Food
The food storage compartment is completely closed
and unventilated, which is necessary to maintain the
required low temperature for food storage. Foods with
strong odors, should be covered.
The coldest positions in the refrigerator are underneath
the cooling evaporator and at the bottom of the
refrigerator. PLEASE STORE YOUR BEVERAGES IN A
COOLER.
