
4.0 CONNECTING THE HARDWARE
Please study the panel drawings below and become familiar with the signal input,
output and power input.

OPERATING THE UNIT
•
Turn off DVI Source and the DVI capable monitor.
•
Connect a DVI extension cable between the DVI Source and the ‘DVI
In’ port of repeater.
•
Connect a DVI extension cable between the monitor and the ‘DVI out’
port of repeater.
•
Connect the DC power cord from the AC Adapter to the unit and plug
the AC adapter into an active AC socket.
•
Turn on the DVI Source and DVI capable monitor.
6.0 TROUBLESHOOTING
If the repeater does not appear to be functioning, make certain that both the DVI
source and DVI capable monitor are functioning correctly by connecting the DVI
source directly to the monitor using a cable with a length of 6 feet or less. If the
signal is present, make certain that the Power On LED is lighted on the 1T-DVI-
RH. If it is, measure the cable length you are attempting to use between the
source to the repeater and the repeater to the monitor. The cable from the source
to the repeater should be 6 foot long or less and the cable to the monitor must be
no longer than 40 feet.
Note that you must use high quality 24 gauge cables to
achieve the distance specified.
Lastly, Inspect the cables and connectors for
damage.
After trying the above suggestions should the problem still persist, contact your
